The Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities Award for Accessibility and Inclusion 2022

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities Award for Accessibility and Inclusion.

The annual award provides an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of an outstanding volunteer, community member, or business that strives to make the NWT more inclusive and accessible for persons with disabilities.

Residents are encouraged to nominate an individual, group, or business by visiting the Department of Health and Social Services website, or downloading a nomination form, and returning it to MRPWD_Award@gov.nt.ca.

The deadline for nominations is November 10, 2022.

Recognition of this year’s recipient will be held December 2, 2022 to align with the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, 2022.
